This book is a stunning collaboration between two respected Japanese folders. Insects pose a difficult subject to design, yet this book presents seventeen such examples with dedicated concern to correct anatomical detail. The models are all challenging, yet are clearly diagrammed in easy to follow stages. The instructions are in Japanese, although they are not really needed to follow the steps. This book usefully contains crease patterns and model proportions, something that not many books do, which comes in very handy indeed. The first edition of this book does have one or two errors in it - a replacement page came with my copy and some of the diagrams are in the wrong order. However, the models are all possible to complete and are great once completed. I look forward to part 2 with great anticipation.
