War on Denmark
I am proud to live in the UK. There may be plenty about it that makes modern life a bit shit at times. However, one of the most important things about living here is that I have Freedom of Speech. I can use it to mock or insult whomever I like, and so long as I don't come up with extremist hatred, the law will protect my right to say it. Yes, some vendetta ridden nematode may consider it worth trying to sue me, but I have the right to express my views without the state trying to censor me.
There are many people on this planet who do not have such a right, especially in the developing world. The chap shown to the left is expressing his views in London, demonstrating his right to Freedom of speech. I should add that this photo is not doctored.

So it saddens me to see that people living in the UK do not feel the same. If you are offended by cartoons in Jyllands-Posten, then write a letter to the editor. Do not cause a riot and threaten to behead people. Do not invade and burn down the Danish Embassy. If you feel particularly strongly, you could even boycott Danish produce, such as Danish Bacon and Carlsberg. But most of all:
Calm down! It's just a cartoon!
